I enjoy creating functional pieces. I have been making things since I was a child. Foregoing formal training, a life of natural curiosity, books, trial and error, practice, attention to detail and having decent dexterity have been beneficial. I enjoy figuring out how to accomplish tasks for which I do not have the proper equipment or might not be within my financial means. Making your own tools and jigs to accomplish these tasks is almost more fun than making the finished piece. These constraints add a much greater sense of accomplishment and bring design ideas to light, which may have never crossed my mind otherwise. I currently live in colorful Colorado.
